BotFather

BotFather is Telegram's official account management system dedicated to the creation and administration of automated accounts across the platform. Serving as the primary interface for developer tools on the service, it centres on issuing API credentials and managing the core operational parameters of user-built applications.

The system covers a comprehensive suite of configuration options, allowing users to register new projects, generate access tokens, and edit descriptive metadata such as profile images, descriptions, and command menus. It handles technical setups including web application integration, payment gateway connections, privacy settings, and ownership transfers between accounts, alongside options for customising inline query behaviour.

This tool is designed for software developers, system administrators, and community managers who build or maintain custom tools on the platform. Users consult it whenever they need to launch a new automation project, retrieve access credentials for their backend code, or adjust the public appearance and capabilities of their existing accounts.
